Sorry if this has been posted on here before. Was asked to cover this whilst in transit (in connection with my job) - only know it's a 1950s Skoda racing car - pretty damn cool -

Yes Skoda brought this along to the Gaydon National Meet of a few years ago: very pretty little car :)

Smart looking thing, anymore info on it.

1957-60 Skoda 1100 DOHC Spyder: 1089cc DOHC engine with 92 bhp and 200kph top speed according to my Skoda History book :)

Must weigh next to nothing - 500kg / 600kg??

Never mind that. Can you retro-fit a Columbus in it?

Great pic of Gerry

And that looks like my old car on the right :'(

Ok stand corrected: i didn't take pictures at Gaydon. I'm not sure about the Gaydon car now but the one above is the 1100 spyder. There is a Skoda Motosport book apparently but not been able to source it: L & k Skoda concentrates on road cars.

I've seen this in the museum. Is it currently in the UK? It makes me go weak at the knees!

It appears at the national learning centre in MK from time to time, or at least one does.
