Want to get inside both front doors but have been unable to see how to remove the panels-------- help !

I presume you remove the door handles first and the inner panel usually just pulls off, there is a haynes manual out for the mk2 Octavia which might give you an idea.

Hi, thanks for that, -- door panel seems to be very firmly attached to the door ( i am thinking double sided tape, industrial type ) S.W.M.B.O. has come up with the idea to ask at the maintainance department at our local ambulance station ---- they have Octavia estates as fast response cars !

I can only assume they are the same doors, good luck, might I ask what your plans are?
