Pro Sport Coilovers

Featured Replies

Ok,

After the Farce that the JOM strut brace has turned out to be, i have decided not to get anything else JOM. I have a friend who's tyre fitting company an they do Pro sport Coilovers, I would appreciate any feedback on these, I dont have massive amounts of funds so i cant afford the big boys stuff.

He has fitted them to his A6 and says he is happy, but views would be good as he says he can do a nice price.... hmmm.

Cheers.

D.

Never heard of them mate!

Have you been out in his Audi and seen what the ride is like? Best thing I can suggest really.

cheers, that's what i was going to do. Pro Sport used to be Jamex.

Ah I know Jamex, they're ok. Have been in a Mk2 golf with them on and it wasn't bad. Dunno how they'd be in a car like an Octavia though...

Cheers Babs. Are they a nice ride?

Flybikelee on here has got them, says they're good and he's very low.

Lots of positive reviews on UKMKIV's too :)

maybe have a look at H&R monotubes?

There was a set of these on ebay the other day ended for £125

Im in the same boat, looking to lower mine on a budget, been looking for some time now. Im looking for at least a 30mm drop and this is hard to do with just springs, and coilovers within my price range seem are budget and seem to get alot of mixed opinions, you thought about just shocks and springs like these:

i dont know how they compare with budget coilovers?

Ive got racelands on mine. Wound right down and are not as uncomfortable as my mates cupra which is on vmaxx coilies

Where did you get your race lands from?

Ebay mate.

Don't suppose you tried the racelands wound up? Thinking about changing my suspension but coil overs are loads cheaper than new springs and dampers. Don't really want in much or any lower than the 130k front springs and shocks are already lol

no mate they have been wound down since day. Only reason i got them was because of a snapped coil lol
