Very happy, New car collected today

Featured Replies

After a LOT of haggling and last minute hick ups we finally managed to get our new VRS CR TDi a month early, and with a few toys.

In goes a 325d BMW 2008 and a Fabia Sport 1.9 tdi, the dealer tried a few tricks at the last minute I informed him I would walk away and lose £500, the problem was he revalued my BMW buy £1500 less than when I placed the deal back in December of course I refused to pickup the new one until he wiped that out.

I am pleased to say we got it back and the deal was done :)

Pictures coming later, BTW the dark seats look great!

Might be jealous of those seats my std ones are 2 weeks old and the light grey is showing colouration (new jeans!) already...

Enjoy!

No DSG?

I agree, I was lucky when I ordered it I didn't notice them as an option and managed to get them on the build sheet just in time :)

love the black seats and inserts! very classy.

Very nice.

Yep, amazing seats - looks really good with the contrasting stitching too. Plus the same on the wheel and didn't realise the stitching also included the gearstick gaitor too

Very, very nice. Not jealous at all!

Lovely looking car interior.

Yea the carbon inserts are cool - looking fwd to getting mine now

I have to say I think Skoda did really well with the darker inserts and seats, giving that premium feel to the car, it doesn't feel like the 2008 model we had as this one has so many updates. I also love the stereo with the midi port I am so glad I ticked that.

Anyone waiting for theirs and have Xenons, I had been told that I was luck as the cars are being delayed now due to this option.

It was so worth the wait, Oh and this forum is sooooooooooo much better than the BMW ones

Yep, can imagine xenons are one of the options that will slow a build down, seeing as there will be loom differences, plus the installation of the self-levelling bits and headlamp washers not normally fitted to the vRS etc.

Very nice and the seats look great, I wonder what the octavia lll vrs will bring ;)

Oh another Race Blue one !

Still a nice car. Enjoy!

I only had a choice of black or rallye green. A pet hate of mine is exposed painted surfsces on the interior, the octavia has strips of paint visible around each door. Couldnt face that, literally, in green!!! The black is almost invisible with all that black trim. But then everytime I look at mine I spot a new scratch or swirl! Maybe blue would have been good compromise from the inside less boring than the black but cant tell from your pics too low to see door paint..

Really great looking inside and out.

Oh another Race Blue one !

Still a nice car. Enjoy!

Probably because it's the vrs signature colour same as with Subaru there's is blue too.

Anyway race blue is the best colour or white.

Looking good!

That interior has really brought the car up to date!

Right spec too!

That interior is subtle but has the perfect balance, Amazing, love it!

amazing interior, congrats :-)
