Hi all,

I noticed the other day that my EML was on. I took my car (2006 vRS) to a garage my mate works at for a VCDS scan. The fault codes that came up were as follows:

VAG no P Code Details

18009 P1601 Relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (J317): Implausible Signal P1601

17055 P0671 Cylinder 1 glow plug circuit (Q10) electrical fault P0671

When i was at the garage we checked the glow plugs and they all seemed fine.

We wipped all the fault codes and assumed the car was throwing a wobberly as it drives normaly, no differance in power deliverary, starting etc...

However 2 days later and the EML is back on again. :wall: as it seems the glow plugs are fine what is "18009 - P1601 - Relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (J317): Implausible Signal P1601"

I have used the search function and google, but all the information out there seems so vague and none of the forums or threads come up with a soloution.

All this trouble would have to happen now after I have booked some track days at the end of April begining of May.

Any help would be fantastic!
