Why on the AUQ engines is the Inlet and throttle body aligned left to the engine but on the BAM and AEM?(cupra R engine) are they aligned right?

225's run twin smic's so go to passenger side :)

If the FMIC has inlet and outlet at opposite ends then you could do that IF you had the BAM manifold too. If you stuck with the AUQ manifold then it wouldn't work as the hardpipe comes round the side of the engine and down where on the AUQ engine the pipe would be coming up from the intercooler to the throttle body.

just out of interest, if you are fitting a fmic can you put a hardpipe off a ko4 (audi s3) on and do away woth the pancake pipe????

Ths pancake pipe from mk4 gti 1.8t fits

I'll be fitting mine shortly
