Anyone know how to remove the plastic trim around the stereo and gear stick? Also wondering how to remove the air vents. Have some carbon wrap and want to wrap them. Had a look but couldn't find any links to removal.

I've a 1.6 combi. Incase that makes a difference.

Pull it off. Use a screw driver to lift off from the edge or pop the ashtray and you can get it off easier from under there.

Probability of it breaking by the pulling at it with a screwdriver?

i give mine a wiggle from under the Climatronic and it pops off easy.

Are you all talking of the carbon type bit? Around gear and stereo ??

That's how I got mine off first time around. Just take it gently, but as I said pop the ashtray then you will be able to get your fingers under its edge quite easily.
