Looking at oil stuff i seen some red oil and purple etc oil catch tanks on ebay

what are they ?

where do they fit ?

and how do they fit ??

They fit between the CCV and the CAI after the MAF sensor (at least on that is where they do on a diesel, guess the same applies to a magic petrol based car)

The idea is that they filter out the oil from the warm air vented from the crank case before that air is recirculated back into the engine (this is what causes oil to gather in the pancake pipe on your intercooler).

Oil catch tanks, goes in the breather circuit and seperates oil from air before its returned into the intake so the engine doesn't invest it's own oil.

Universal kit so mounts where ever you can.

What size outlets does the vrs use??

that kit says it got 10mm and 15mm

i think i need a haynes to see what the vacum system is lol

They are quite easy to fit and there are plenty of posts on here showing "how to".

Very worthwhile mod if you intend keeping the car for a few years.
