What next? Suggestions please

Featured Replies

Golf Gti turbo MK4

Done all mechanical jobs (at massive cost!)

Now doing a few performance mods

So far

Remap

Air inductor

Recirculating/dump valve

What next?

As said though I've put about a grand in so far as I've replaced everything that it needed and some stuff that wasn't!

Need to keep costs down abit.

BTW I'm keeping it standard on the outside for the sleeper look, so no big spoilers or body kits.

Ive replaced standard 16 inch wheels with new 16 inch wheels already so... What next?

Suspension mods next, Rarb and maybe coil overs

suspension and brakes

+1 to the suspension...

What is it? A normal GTI or an Anniversary?

If normal GTI then you can upgrade from 288 to 312mm front brakes or if it's an Anniversary then skip the 312mm upgrade and get Cupra R Brembos for it.

Upgrade the wishbones to R32/TT items, R32 front ARB, 28mm rear ARB, coilovers.

It wouldn't look too bad with 17's either (maybe off an R32) but if you've already spent money on 16's you might not want to do that.

If its a normal (non Anniversary) GTI and you ever decide to go big turbo you have a better suited cylinder head for that.
