That Bit Around The Octy Chrome-effect Grille...

Featured Replies

Managed to take a chunk outta that colour-coded surround whilst trying to clean up my headlights with one of those windscreen washers you get at at service stations in Holland and Germany. What a burk.

Anyone know if this is a seperate part that I could get replaced farly cheaply? Or is it part of the bonnet as a whole...

Regards,

Mark

pretty sure it should be a sep part... you might want to try butts.. they have some aftermarket designs that might appeal...

The radiator grille consists of 3 parts, namely:

Radiator grille frame, GRU primed Part No: 1U0 853 665A

Molding for radiator grille (chrome)

Grille (black)

From what you say it sounds like you damaged the radiator grille frame which, if replaced, will need to be painted in the correct body colour before fitting. A job for your local Skoda dealer, I would have thought.

That's the fella.

A bit unsure about those aftermarket jobs...
