Aerial Base Different part numbers

Featured Replies

A quick question does anyone know the differences in the 1U0035505F AND 1U0035505B Aerial base, are the connections the same? My guess is the F number is the anti theft but I just wanted to be sure as the F is cheaper, thanks G

The final letter of the part number is the revision. Generally one would assume that a later revision would be better.

I have had several different aerial based for my car, they are all the same connector.

Thanks for that, it helps to save a few quid!

Maybe one thing to note, and I haven't checked the part numbers is that the aerial bases for a hatch seem to allow the aerial to be unscrewed a bit and then rested flat on the roof of the car (maybe maybe used in-conjunction with an anti-theft type aerial too).

That said I now have one of those types of base on my estate (donor car was an Octy hatch down the scrap yard!).
