I have DSG and I have noticed a knocking noise when at low speed (low gears) and come off the throttle. It doesn't appear to be gear change related on mine - just does it when at low speeds and come off throttle. Not all the time but getting more regular. Did anyone get any resolution to their problems? Any advice before I get garage to look at it.

Mine has developed this very same thing. It is intermitent but when it does happen, I can feel it when my left foot is on the rest. My mechanic reckons its the rear lower engine mount (dogbone??) He showed me the amount of play in the mount/bush. I have the part and will report back to you all when it is fitted.
