While doing an oil change this morning I noticed a bit "green" corrosion appearing on the main cable from the battery to this fuse box.

My father helpfully started the job for me, but did not note the fuse sizes/locations before removal. From left to right I currently have it as:

110a, 110a, 40a, 50a

It is the 40 and 50 amp fuses I am not sure on.... I am without my Haynes (or other PDF guides) so can't check the proper order, could anyone with a 110TDI confirm the order for the right 2 fuses.

Just looked at mine.

From left to right they are 150A, 110A, 40A and 50A so your sequence is correct.

Mine are not cartridge fuses but stamped metal strips but I guess that is just a cost saving exercise.

Oh, 150, 110, 40, 50 - Pretty sure my first two are both 110 but I'll have a check after the grand national. Just need to fill the new fuel filter with diesel and my handy work is done for the day.

I have just followed the ABS thread & used a 40 Amp & all seems ok at the moment.

Probably depends on the exact model and fuel type. Your link shows a Fabia which uses a different fuse box arrangement with more fuses. There are four large fuses in the Octavia so no fuse 6.

 

The Haynes manual states that the ABS system has two 30 Amp fuses in the main fuse box over the battery but that too may have changed on later Octys.
