Primer (car with no paint / laquer)

Featured Replies

A quick question - if a car was completely primered, but had no paint or laquer put on it, how would it fair against the elements?

Would adverse weather cause it to just "fade away" or would it be no different to a normal car?

Cheers - T

Primer absorbs moisture (water) easily.

Lol back in the day there seemed to be no end of primered cortinas and capris cruising the streets. And as Gizmo says primer offers no protection at all.

Would just rust like hell

Cheers guys - looks like I'll have to work fast to get the paint on then!

Many thanks B)

Why dont you putt matting agent in the paint. Give you a primer look with protection

It'll rust like nobodies business.

If you want the primer look, just get a matt black, red ox or grey paint in the right colour.
