F/S Land Rover Discorvery 300 TDI ES Premium

Featured Replies

It's an ES Premium model, 7 seater, full leather interior on a 1998 'S'.

Electric front, heated seats (both working)

Front and rear electric sunroofs - both working and water tight.

Front & rear electric windows - all working and water tight (though the rears only work after running the car for a bit).

Automatic

Large tow bar with power

Front bull bars

Mains power inverter/sockets mounted in rear.

de-EGR'd.

new 1000 CCA (marine rated) battery fitted in January 2012.

BF Goodrich AT T/A tyres, with excellent tread depth (spare different brand worn, but legal)

Appears to have a 2" lift.

143,800 miles

Taxed till end of may

MOT due in May

No dealer service history, but well maintained & sourced/purchased via http://www.yanthelandyman.co.uk, so it’s a sound vehicle.

It's a 13 year old Discovery, so the condition is as you'd expect - some aluminium corrosion on some panels, the worst of which can be seen in some photos.

However, the car is water tight, clean, solid and nothing major on the MOT advisory last time round - iirc a slight engine oil leak, but no evidence of loss when checking levels every month.

In Blackpool.

For anyone interested, photo's of the car are here:

As you can see the interior is exceptionally clean, the roof mounted cargo nets are still tight rather than saggy (which they tend to be at this age), the twin electric sunroofs still have their integral roller shades (and are water tight & operate perfectly!) and it does have dual zone A/C (which still blows icy cold) and an after-market stereo fitted by a previous owner, which makes very good use of the speakers on board.

Bottom Line : £1900 ovno

Update to advert details.

NEW 12 months MOT (as of 8th may 2012)

Advisories

- high level brake light not working - 2 minutes to change the bulb, which I'll be doing this weekend.

- NS Sill, 2 rust holes.

- Exhaust tail pipe broken off - I'm re-checking this, as it doesn't look to be....

-brake line across rear axle - corrosion.

I'll be getting a price on fixing the sills and the brake line, as they're the important bits, which will affect the asking price (already taking a significant hit on it), but as it stands, it's solid, perfectly safe and road legal.

Would also consider swapping for a mid sized hatch/estate, preferably diesel, in roadworthy condition - no projects!
