Hi,

Been trying to get my ICE sorted today (Had the car since Sunday).

When I picked it up, the unit (Symphony Radio/Cassette & CD Changer) was displaying 'SAFE'. Dealer I bought it from had no idea what the code was.

A ratch through the history turned up a scap of paper with a 4 digit number, so gave that a go - Hey presto! Radio came on. Happy days I thought.

Problem I have is I can't get the CD multi changer in the boot to eject the cartridge.

Searched here and online but had no joy. Does anyone have a manual/installation guide for this system? Model No is 1U0 035 161D

Would appreciate any pointers.

Update.

Change of tack on my google searches and I might have found the problem.

No connection to the CD changer. See attached pic.

Would appreciate if someone can confirm my suspicions.

Thanks bud. I've just been scratching around inside the dash (had to remove the glove box) and found the plug tucked away behind the bulkhead. Plugged it in and lo and behold, I now have a fully working ICE! Just in time too - I was fully sick of listening to Radio1 haha!

If you didn't want to use the cd changer there is a wire you can get to fit where the changer plug goes and it allows you to plug in iPod iPhone etc using 3.5 jack on the symphony unit.

Thanks bud. I'm happy with the cd changer ATM, but think I'll get myself a xcarlink at some point (ie when money permits) so I can plug my iPhone in too. That would give me all the audio inputs I'll ever need then (radio, cassette, cd changer and iPod).
