Where do people get decats done?

I've a 1.9tdi and want to get this done but no idea where or how much it actually costs

I'm in Manchester if that helps with info

I think most people get them off Ebay

Any garage should be able to source a section of pipe and weld it in for you.

Would there be any effect if you made it so that the decat and cat can be swapped for mot? Intersecting pipes.

Really? Thought it caused issues through MOT's I've heard on other posts.

A few of the VRS owners on here did that in the past, you can get a section which just clips in and swap it for a cat come MOT time:

As said though it doesn't matter with a diesel they don't test the hydrocarbon emissions like they do on a petrol just do a smoke test I believe.
