which coilovers to buy? opinions please...

Featured Replies

Going to order some coilovers from demon tweeks and was wondering which coilovers people have on there cars? im stuck between ap's or the kw variant 1 basic coilover kit?

which coilovers have people got and can you post pics :D

cheers jamie

Highly recommend the KW's, I spent a bit more and went for the Inox ones simply because they are corrosion resistant, though the internals are the exact same

im running BC Racing V1 coilovers

i think they are very similar, if not slightly less than KW but i went for them because they have adjustable damping and id heard good reviews about them as a friend runs them on his Focus RS. I run mine slightly harder on the back to compensate for having no RARB. I couldn't really rate them enough if im honest, handling is brilliant, allow little to no roll.

Ive attached a pic, thats with them wound all the way down just after fitting so they do settle a bit more. they adjust different to other coilovers i've used due to the actual shock body moving up and down to adjust ride height and the spring platforms move to adjust pre load on the spring. the rear is also adjustable this way with both the shock and spring platforms able to be adjusted.

Very good kit, couldn't rate it enough.

KW V1 Basic are on special at the moment so a great time to buy them.

Let me know if you need any prices.

V1's all the way! Got them on my fabia, top notch. And the man above normally gets great reviews for price and service, well worth asking.
