Symphony Radio

Featured Replies

2002 1.9TDI. My Symphony radio made by Grundig has packed up and I've obtained a replacement and have its code. Is it simply a case of swopping the new radio for the old and inputting the new radio's code?

Thanks

FD

Yes :)

Yes, simples :)

If I remember correctly you enter the code then hold down one of the numbered buttons to activate

When you install the new stereo and turn it on you should initially get a "SAFE" message displaying followed by "0000"

Use the1/2/3/4 buttons to input the code for the new stereo (for example to achieve a code of "1234" you would push the "1" button once, "2" button twice, "3" button 3 times, "4 button four times - hope that makes sense)

Once the code is in properly hold down the "<<" or ">>" button for a few seconds and then you should be away!

I was hoping that would be the answer. Many thanks to you all.
