What's the chances of fitting regular H4 / H7 bulbs into Xenons lamps!?

Why??

Yeah I kinda knew "Not a chance" maybe said!

The why is simple, I love the look of xenons but not the cost of installing them, SO I was wondering if any one may have modded them to run like projector headlamps with halogen bulbs!

the projector healamp unit are the expensive bit, you can fit the oe ds bulbs and ballasts, or non oe hid bulbs and ballasts (brighter) and cheaper way of doing it to the projector units anyway so would be no point in scrimping on fitting the expensive part of the system but not the good bit (which costs less) if that makes sense.

The Xenon Arc Units (Bulbs) are probably about £60 for a pair, so not much more than a premium pair of halogen bulbs.

Headlamps are the cheap part I can get, a new pair (patern) £90 BUT I'm probably making a mountain out of a mole hill!

I'm not after bright or xenon bulbs (HID) just the xenon style lamp it self ( with the projector "eye" glass dome )

afaik projectors work better with hid/xenon bulbs, they dont work as well as a reflector unit with halogen bulbs in so no point doing it with halogens in.

HID kits are readily available and if fitted with projector units and the other bits are a no brainer in taking advantage of the projectors ability.

I paid £350 for my xenon headlight clusters 2nd hand?
