Planning A Mini Ice Install

Featured Replies

Hi all, as per the title I'm planning a mini ICE install in the Octy and as I normally don't think things out and end up doing them over and over I thought I'd get a plan together before I start. In my younger days I used to have some decent ICE installs in my cars which I fitted my self but that was a long time ago now and my mind isn't what it used to be. I have a few questions that I thought I'd ask on here to see if my thinking is right.

My first question is I'm currently running a Parrot RKI8400 Ipod head unit which is ok but with regards to sound setting is pretty basic. The unit I'm running only has one preout and as I'm firstly thinking of installing a 4 channel amp to power all four speakers in the car then at a later date maybe adding a sub I take it this is going to be a no go due to the amount of preouts I have available? Am I right?

Cheers

H
