GoPro Video Editing Software

Featured Replies

Before long I'll need some. What's free or good at the moment? Also is there any software specifically for the GoPro? Haven't played with it much yet so don't really know

I use Videopad Video Editor and I like it.

It's not super advanced, but is very easy to use and has all the main features I require.

I was waiting for some cracking suggestions, but as there have been none I thought I'd let you know what I use. :)

The only function it doesn't have that I'd like is Picture In Picture. I have to use the VBox to get that currently.

I use eithe imovie on the Mac or Serif Movieplus on PC. Serif has a lot more capability, but isnt really expensive. You could even use Windows Live Movie Maker which is free, just depends if you want to output in HD.

I'm trying Sony Vegas Pro 11 and I can tell it's pretty advanced but hard so far to get good results from the word go. Spent hours the other night cutting a small clip, adding text in certain places and was happy with it right up until I wanted to save it. Could only save it in a handful of formats, took an hour to render and I got a file I could only play on the laptop. It also had an option to Upload to Youtube so I did this only to find my 2 minute clip was not 15secs, not HD and with sound missing :wall:

I'll try Videopad Video Editor to see what it's like
