New VW beetle

Featured Replies

Saw it in the flesh today, is it me or does it just look like a fat scirocco?!

More like a fat 911 ?

Can't see much differences between the new beetle and the one it replaces, apart from slightly lower roof and the front bumper sticking out more

I quiet like it altho didn't mind the old one either apart from the inside altho they seem to addressed that now

Not a fan of the old FWD one, but the new one looks nice, looks like a rat rod!

Least its getting a 1.4tsi and a 2.0 engine so it wont be sluggish unlike the older ones :)

I dunno why they persevere with the Beetle. The original was crap (my folks had about 4 of them before they learned) and the rehash has always been a pig in lipstick.

Oh you can't beat the original beetles. Love them. VW have ruined it though with modernising it. For goodness sake, why put a flower in a car?!!

An OLD Convertable Beetle must be up there with the best looking cars of all times, along with the Van.
