Do UK Roomsters come with PTC electric heater behind heater matrix?

If yes, is it all engines/trims or only some of them?

Just check option code on the car sticker, 7E6 for heater, 7E0 for no heater.

What is PTC please?

Positive Temperature Coeffiicient, means resistance of heater increases with temperature, reducing power and preventing fire in case of electrics failure.

But basically, it is an 12V/80A additional heater that provides warm air to windscreen and almost instant demisting, without the pain of having "quickclear" heated windscreen. Heated windscreens chip a lot more easily than normal ones. I have one in my Mk1 Superb, and it is the third one on that car (and already chipped, I just gave up on replacing them). Not that it was ever an option for Roomster...

Cost of heater on its own is about GBP140? And it is a console off job to refit,

Shame Skoda UK decided to skimp on this, I know in Ireland at least it is an option.

I guess I'll have to run an extra 12V/30A line from battery to cabin, and get a couple of ceramic heaters and place them next to windscreen in the corners (cost GBP20) hooked up via relay to rear windscreen heater (it has 7min timer).
