Chaps,

Fitted a bike rack yesterday and forgot to remove the wiper fuse. Reversed the car and guess what!?!

Wiper does not work, any ideas on cost or part number for assembly?

TBH I wouldn't have given the fuse a thought, you tried TPS?

Fixed now, replaced fuse and reset arm.

Skoda Superb needs new starter battery - coded to vehicle??

Skoda dealer says car needs a new battery and the battery needs to be coded to the car. If indeed it does need a new battery, why does it need to be coded to the car? It's not stop/start, it's a manual 6-speed gearbox. Car's description: Skoda Superb Estate 2013 vintage (MkII?), 1.4TSi petrol engine, manual gearbox. I had thought that only auto boxes with stop/start needed coding. Is my understanding incorrect? Thanks for responding.

Hello My skoda start keeping rpm in neutral around 900 to 950, yesterday i went for ride on motorway and engine light came on then few minutes after dpf light came on. Drove for 2 hours no issuses turbo works fine also power is fine, traffic was cray so was not able keep driving in high rpm. Will only driving in high RPM help to clear out or not? Should i use dpf additive? also it is 182k miles... Today i started the car in the morning and rpm was at normal.also dpf light is gone but engine lig

The traffic sign recognition error warning light came on when ignition turned on. Car went into dealers for diagnosis. They had to contact Skoda Technical Services for advice. No fix , suggested new camera may be required and the new camera to be calibrated. Horrendous estimate , circa !500 GBP plus the calibration cost by ADAS specialist.

I've noticed, on several occasions, mainly on motorways, that my 2025 Superb L & K hybrid detects a lower speed limit and will continue for miles showing a lower speed than necessary. Where is the Superb getting its speed limit information fromm

Hi guys, New owner of a 2013 Rapid 1.2TSI. After doing some brief reading, I understand that these are essentially a VW Polo underneath (PQ25/A05 platform) - because of this I was wondering if anyone had retrofitted either the RCD 780 or RCD 360/330 headunits to these vehicles? Currently I believe mine comes with the RNS315 unit? If not either of these head units - what would everyone else recommend? Appreciate any help!
