hi fabia 2000 reg ventral locking not work off key fob had new battery no good so it was thinking of buying a kit but witch one any help would be great

Stop for a moment, it's an old car, it's not worth a massive amount with or without central locking, do you want to spend £30 on a central locking kit, pull every door apart to run cables and replace most of the trim clips and get familiar with your car in ways you've so far avoided over several hours and get next to nothing extra back or do you want to sell it without central locking?

Check the fuse, re-do the sync process and if your next car will be VAG spend £5 on a VCDS compatible lead and download/reg the (free) shareware version to see if it's chucking up an error code. If not just be honest with buyers, most Classic's of that age don't have central locking so I'd not get overly excited.

ok but the central locking with the key in the door wouldnt work if the fuse was gone but i will have a look at it ifs its ok where wounld i find the wire to set a kitup

If I'm honest you aren't filling me with confidence here.

Did you read the guide in the Technical Guides section? Have you checked the spare fob and tried the re-pairing process again? How about reading the fault codes? It could be a duff battery even though you changed it or a duff fob or a duff controller etc. all of which are easier/cheaper to fix and give a factory system as opposed to a 3rd party kit.

One of the first things the guide states is it took the creator the best part of 4 days to install. I'm not saying it'd take anything like that if you follow it or are used to stripping trim and running cables but it's not just plug & play.

Your kit should have everything you need appart from new trim clips and trim removal tools along with generic instructions.
