Are these really going to fit?

Featured Replies

I've bought a set of Alloys to which it would seem after getting them home are not what they seem to be.

I've test fitted one and they stick out very slighty will I get pulled for this? I'm only going to use them to get back from the track day next weekend in chase I kill my tyres.

Wow what offset are those? Yes they are illegal, but I guess most police have more on there minds than wheels that are a bit too wide.

aye thought as much. Nevermind back to the drawing board lol (they are surposed to fit Audi A3)

Must be a wide body A3! If the treaded part of the tyre sticks out beyond the body work they are illegal (not to mention what they'll do to the body work in the corners) you will need some serious wheel arch extensions.

They are probably off an A4. They have a lower offset. Are they 9" ET35?

Oops - either new a4 or TT - both have 30 - 35 et offset and 8+ wide.

not sure they stated A3 but well I guess that was wrong......they joys of ebay! D'oh.

Nothing stamped on the back that gives me a clue to the offset. Nevermind they were cheap so I'll just bung them back on ebay.

Thanks for the help guys!

Wow - yes that's an impressive offset. And while you might not get pulled (although technically you could) - just try putting some lock on with those fitted to the front!

Any details on the wheels and we'll try to help you out with detail for your forthcoming eBay listing :) - they look aftermarket, Team Dynamics possibly? Shame really as you've got a very decent set of Mich Pilot Sports attached to them :(
