Hole for cables from engine bay to car interior?

Featured Replies

Could someone please help? I need to run some wire from my battery into the car interior. On the passenger side. Struggling to find the hole on the firewall!

Cheers,

Samuel

Follow the black trunking, unclip it and there is a gromit behind there and it comes out in car under glovebox

yep, theres a hole behind the pollen filter and theres access drivers side too. (see my build)

yep also a hole beneath the passenger side black cable plastic trunking running above gearbox mount. Right in corner of inner wing to the bulkhead. If you remove the interior glovebox and pull down the carpet it will expose the grommet to engine bay, then you can attach a wire to a coat hanger or similar and poke it through ..

I found the climatronic gubbins was it the way on mine, could get to the hole on the engine side, but no chance in the back of the glovebox, even with a coat hanger. i'm going to try going in over the steering column. Silly fully loaded octy lol

i didnt have a problem lol
