What do the stock speakers look like?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Im not sure if my stock speakers have been replaced or not by the previous owner.

The speakers that are currently fitted have the writing 'high performance' and '250 watts' around the outside with a silver ring.

Are these stock?

Many thanks.

I think you should be able to tell by the presence of adapters if they are aftermarket?

I think the stock speakers are a funny size and require adapters to fit aftermarket ones so if there are no adapters then they are stock/standard.

BTW. I have found the stock speakers in my Cordoba very good actually. Don't know how similar they are in the Fabia. Mine is fitted as standard with 6 speakers.

I replaced one of my rear speakers a few weeks ago and printed on the rear of the magnet is SKODA along with the logo.

They're not the standards. Standards are a dull grey/black with built-in spacers.

Also, they look like they were assembled by chinese ten year olds. The damn thing fell apart in my hands. And I'm not one to use violence while working.
