Glasses Guide Wrong?

Featured Replies

I've been in discussion with a dealer who want to buy my car but one stumbling block is glasses guide.

I have the CR TDI vRS Octavia. 150gm

This is listed as 08 on

There's also another vrs TDI listed which has to be the PD version. This says 151gm but states 06 to 60 plate?

Now I know that the PD wasn't made up to 60 plate on this car.

The problem is that they've got the 06-60 plate 151gm version listed as £700 more expensive than the 08 on one?

Why would the older engines car be worth £700 more than the CR unless it's a glasses error?

I would guess its the same car. 1gm out on emissions. Like I said I'm guessing but would the change from the PD to CR not change the emissions more than that?

It's not the emissions I'm bothered about its the fact its £700 more for the older tech????? They have to have it wrong.

Youve missed the point. How do you know it's the PD version? Does it say PD in the glasses guide.

Doesn't say either but the Skoda guy (they rung me to buy its not a px) said mines def the 150gm. Even they can't understand it?

The fact the more expensive listed version states 2006 on means it has to be the PD/

Pd must be more desirable then.

There's no way the pd's are more disirable, everyone I asked said to stay away from the PD170's with dpf's, they are older, noisier & have more issues than the newer tech. Sounds like a **** up to me.
