2006 Vrs Tdi advice

Featured Replies

Ive looked at a 56 VRS tdi test drove it, and have struck a deal with the seller.I carried out all the hpi checks which have come out correct and had MOT history verified by VOSA and spoke to DVLA to confirm a few details from V5 which all checked out ok.

We agreed a price of £6200 with 6 months tax, does this seem about right for a 56plate car with 68k miles?, has had injector recall, clutch and DMF in last year.

advice welcomed

thanks

Looks a nice car, price seems about right to me,the cambelt, dmf & clutch would of cost a fair bit so to have had them replaced already should save you some money in the long run, nice colour to! :-)

Its had one of the major problem areas dealt with - Clutch/DMF and has had the timing belt done so sounds like its been looked after.

May be due for the injector recall.

Seems like a good speck to as it has rear elec windows and the jumbo box which I believe were options at that time, and correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it also has Xenon headlights fitted.

All in all it looks a nice buy.

Thanks guys, Its a lovely car, cant wait to pick it up and the seller has been great, should have it next week when he receives a new copy of the V5, just a bit confused about the DPF situation.

Does the light come on to tell you its doing a regen? or does it come on after a regen, and what kind of speed/rpm is required for regen?

and correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it also has Xenon headlights fitted.

No Xenons cos theres no washers.

No Xenons cos theres no washers.

My bad, Was thinking I couldn't see the level adjust wheel by the light switch.
