need some advice with what fabia to get next :)

Featured Replies

i currently own a 1.4 silverline as seen http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/211740-my-fabia-progress/page__fromsearch__1

and i dont like the fuel it uses with my right foot so i think its time for a diesel, i have always wanted a octavia diesel but the insurance is about 3x more so a fabia 1.9 tdi is in order, with cheap insurance :D bonus

im debating on what year/face to get as i like the 2005 upwards facelift models, but the prices are high on them :(

i am also debating on colour.... silver, black/gray or blue? i dunno i like them all lol

so i was wondering weather i can get one like mine and get the front bumper and dials from a facelift?

my main concern are the dials, is it an easy fit or alot of work?

thanks

kieran

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Don't take my word for it though.

You having issues with yours? 120k miles and mine work fine.

theres no problems with the car expect a few dents

my issue with the gearbox which i havent liked from the start is that 1st and 3rd are so close, i keep going into 3rd or visa versa at the wrong times its annoying

Strange, I'm having the same issue, but with second and fourth. Guess its a matter of habit.

its like the gap between the 2gears to stop you selecting the wrong gear is about a 1mm thick and useless

Yeah, that's true. Then again, I often skip gears due to eco-driving. Its not noticeable enough to annoy me.
