Tried out my new Chemical Guys Black Light polish. I recommend it!! I'm very happy with the results. It was easy to apply and buff off. After leaving for 15 minutes I expected it to be difficult to sh

Sad times but needs must.

Watching your car evolve was something that influenced my own decision to buy a VRS.

Good luck with the sale Rob.

Silver lining is the buyer is 650km away in Auckland and doesn't have time to collect, so I get one last drive this weekend.

Feeling a bit at a loss now!

Someone got a nice car there... So, what are your plans now?

I think he'll treat it well, he seems like a good guy and has been following my car for years on a local forum.

Now I need to get the urquattro on the road ASAP.

I'll be walking my five year-old to school too, she doesn't appreciate that much. It's about 1.5km mostly up hill :D

It builds character! :D

:(

Sad day indeed, but nothing lasts forever and we have to move on at some point. Look forward to hearing how you get on with the quattro.

Brilliant 'end of an era' photos there Rob

A sad Briskoda day - but onwards and upwards :)

Bad times :(

Well!

The new owner had a bit of an incident in a spate of wild weather in Auckland and drove through a puddle in the dark, hydro-locking the engine.

The insurance wanted to write it off but he bought it back, and it's alive again with a new engine. Don't know any details other than this!

I thought I was going to read that you had bought it back, it sounds like the new owner has a fondness for this car

He definitely does!

I couldn't buy anything right now, the quattro is bankrupting me.

The quattro will be worth it in the end Rob.  It will be a real head turner when you are out it in & will know doubt give you a fuzzy feeling everytime you walk towards it knowing you are about to 'Fire Up The Quattro' B)
