looking for some information

Your revs will increase with clutch slip not mph :) if the clutch is slipping, the engine is revving with less resistance from the clutch in order to get things moving

any recommended clutches? sachs is all i know thats good, would i need to replace the flywheel too?

You may as well really as you will be having the gearbox apart to do the clutch anyways. Also depends on mileage and general condition of it really.

an uprated duel mass flywheel won't "chatter" will it? don't want any added noises or anything. i know my mates old cupra tdi had an awful chatter due to his uprated flywheel

Pardon for the hijack but what if the clutch doesn't release? I take my foot off the pedal and its like it'd had it say, halfway in? The clutch on my Merc used to slip like crazy, but that was the exact opposite. I press the pedal and no cluch. On my fabia, I take my foot off it and it still doesn't release. It started on only high revs but its slowly going downwards.

No it won't mate, it's usually the single mass flywheels that chatter. But there are some silent kits on the Market now. Southbend and Awesome GTI do a kit.

Would this be ideal? I must be around 170-180bhp 300 torque, as long as it will do the job and won't chatter at the flywheel

Look at this on eBay:

Sachs Dual Mass Flywheel & Clutch Kit for 1.9 TDI - 115 AJM / 130 ASZ / 150 ARL

Try eurocarparts and use the discount code clutch15 might be cheaper
