Light switch removal help

Featured Replies

Fibally got around to installing my boost gauge but can't seem to get the light switch out to finish wiring it up. I've checked out robs guide, pushed the switch in and turned but it doesn't seem to budge. Goes about quarter inch clockwise and then nothing.

Any other hints or tips?

It should come out doing what you're doing, push it in turn it clockwise you should hear a click between the off and sidelight position the switch should pull out

It's only the dial part that slides out, not the whole switch panel (although you can remove that once the dial is out).

At 0 (all off), push the centre of the switch in, and the turn clockwise. It should stop moving approx halfway between 0 and sidelights. At this point the dash lights will come on. Simply pull the whole switch assembly towards you and it should come out.

I have just checked this on my car, so I know it works. If yours still won't come out, give it a wiggle!
