The head gasket on my VRS needs doing :( Main dealer is ballpark £1500 any one know any recomendable independent garages that would do a competent job for less ? Looking at London/Surrey.

Strange that the head is gone on a 1.9tdi....

My head needs doing due to a bad remap and a vag specialist is putting a jabbasport map and the pd150 head kit on for 775 so you can get it done a lot cheaper but I'm up north in Newcastle so couldn't recommend someone for you
