Hi everyonr, how easy is it to fit the pioneer avh-p5700dvd into the fabia vrs? What is the best possible route to take when installing? If this question has aready been asked please provide links to the topics as i have searched and found nothing :(

glovebox out if its double din and you may need to cut a little bit of the back plate which is plastic inside and feed the wires.

I'd still take the glovebox out and feed the wires but it'll pretty much slot in mate.

I have the same headunit in my vRS and its a PITA to make it fit properly...

First, i took the cubby hole out and used an angle grinder to smooth off the fins, then took the glove box out and fed the wires through the small gap. I also took out the centre vents to feed the excess wires through.

It can be done! Just take your time and cable tie your wires so you can moneuver them easily.

Also your going to need the bit of trim that fits the upper part of the console:

Haha i was so hoping youd come out with a solution to being able to play dvdr lol... If i want to connect an aux what lead do i need to get... If possible can you provide links from ebay please

Lol. I'm not too sure about aux, but I know the part number for iPod adapter is CD-IB100.
