Loose Boost Hose?

Featured Replies

Following Mondays track action i reckoned my car has a bit more whistle from under the bonnet.

Since then I've also noticed a considerable increase in smoke when "pressing on".

Having seen all the posts about popped boost hoses causing noise and large clouds of smoke is it likely that my extra smoke and extra whistle comes from a loose boost hose?

Or is it just the fact it's almost 5000 overdue a service? :peek:

mine got progressivly more smokey and whistely when the hose of the turbo developed a small hole that gradually got bigger, so i would guess so yes ;)

thats quite overdue for a service, but then who am i to talk, mine is also overdue by a bit :)
