diverter valve question in vrs tfsi

Featured Replies

Hi there i am needing to replace my diverter valve after a accident when fitting the bov spacer.

I have ordered the 06F 145 710 G but looking into it i see there is many different one as in c and d models.

I have a 2007 octavia vrs tfsi would the 06F 145 710 G be fine for it.

Also do all models fit the car, as they are just slightly different in build or will ceterian models fit certian vrs.

Thanks.

I thought D is the latest revision level, I bought one which has the metal piston and not the plastic seal on it.

yea d is the latest model but i want to replace like for like, but i am right to say that no mater what model it is either C,D or G it will fit in my car,.

Yup, am pretty sure. The one that came out of mine was not a D for sure. If it was a "new" part, i.e. a different shape or function, it would be a different part number. The suffix is the revision level (or rev) of the same part.

As you're having to replace it anyway, definitely get the rev D, the part no is in the Useful part numbers thread in the Octavia Technical Guides area. Cost is the same and it's much more robust.

Edit: here: 06H 145 710 D

Should be ~£50 from a dealer. It will 100% fit your engine.

My D valve is in a drawer. I went back to a diaphragm G valve after R-tech pressure tested a few D valves and found they leaked under higher boost. I would rather have a diaphragm blow and actually see the tear than just hope it wasn't leaking.

This is my diaphram type DV, I replaced it with the piston D type and it is good as new

Mine looked like that too, the originals cannot cope with a remap, Awesome said they have never seen a D fail
