Best Price for Columbus

Featured Replies

I have been quoted £540 delivered from seller on eBay with battery drain issue fix for 56 plate. Is this a good price?

How much did you all pay for your Columbus? Also from where?

Cheers

A little less but well worth it, they should come with DVD in motion too. And you can get all the bits for a OEM Bluetooth install with voice control for about £150. Car Systems do the wiring loom and OEM mic, then its just a case of getting a Bluetooth unit off ebay that suits what phone you have (nokia RSAP or normal android/iphone) difference being an rsap style module will allow you to read texts and send texts via the columbus as it treats the unit as the phone, obviously this is a good point but the phone choice isn't the best.

I went for this module: 5K0035730D which suits my HTC Desire or an iphone and does Bluetooth Audio Streaming. (about £80)

Wiring kit: http://www.carsystem...1-5m,id156.html (about £45) this also includes voice control harness so no re-wiring etc. they have done that all for you! as long as you have the VW/Skoda OEM mic plugged in to it.

And a VW OEM mic off ebay for about £15
