left the car this morning with someone for an oil change (i wasn't the one driving it). when i managed to get home i found out 10w40 liqui molly oil was used:

"Liqui Moly Super Leichtlauf 10W40

Intended use

Especially suitable for vehicles with mileages of over 60,000 as well as for use in modern gasoline, passenger vehicle diesel and turbocharged engines.

Clearing

ACEA A3-04/B4-04 ; API SL/CF ; MB-Freigabe 229.1 ; VW 501.01 / 505.00

LIQUI MOLY advise this product for vehicles with the following specifications: Peugeot Citroen (PSA) B 712294 ; VW 500.00" (quickly pasted from a website)

"epic fail" or "can be lived with" ? (browsed the forum for answers, some say ok, some say no no)

800 mile trip planned tomorrow morning, so i'm kinda in a hurry...

prob be fine for your trip, but i'd go back and ask for an oil suitable for your engine (should be free)

Is your car a petrol or pd diesel?

If a diesel do not drive it! Spec must be 505.01!!

Its imperitive to these engines that there run on the proper oil
