2003 Octavia vRS 1.8T ONLY 55K Black Magic Pearl . Full History , immaculate,

Featured Replies

Hiya, Ive decided its time to sell my lovely Octavia vRS, mainly down to lack of use and having just bought a new house. I bought it last year when it had been traded in at Gordon Lamb Skoda in Chesterfield with just 50k on it. Its now got 55100 on it. Im only the second owner of the car. Its good loads of service history , spare key and even the original brochure and autocar review in the history paperwork. Never been out in the wet in my ownership and the previous owner used it as a "3rd" car for special occasions! The interior is pretty much perfect, no rips or tears, no wear to the steering wheel of gearstick etc. The carpet in the drivers footwell is a little dirty if Im being really fussy but the majority is covered by the floormats, the rear seats look like theyve never been sat in! The spare wheel has never been on and the locking wheel nut / wheelbrace and cargo net look like theyve never left the boot. Usual vRS equipment like climate control, 6 disc changer etc all work perfectly. In the past 4000 miles its had 4 new Dunlop SP Sport tires ( loads left on them ), Genuine Oil , oil filter and air filter change, timing belt, water pump and coolant change and a stage 1 remap by Shark Performance. Its also been into the Skoda dealers for the coil packs changing under the recall. Always run run super unleaded ( much to swmbo's dismay ) The only mark on the car is a small dint on the lower rear passenger side wheelarch which is smaller than a 5p. It was on it when I bought it and Ive been quoted £50 to get it repaired, I just never got round to it. The paintwork is amazing, very very few stone chips, as you probably know, black shows up swirl marks badly if its not cared for. This has been treated to a good clay bar session, followed by polish , then wax. Its even been on Meguiars own website! Im not in a rush to sell it and it probably wont be the cheapest youll find, but its certainly one of the very best and Id ideally like it to go to a like minded enthusiast wholl look after it as much as I have. Taxed until end of August 2012,MOT April 4th 2013 Im after £3295 for it . Test drives will require proof of insurance, if not, Ill be driving. Please feel free to email me for pics etc or text and I'll send them from my phone. Im not very computer minded and struggle when it comes to resizing pictures etc to put them on here. Car is in Doncaster. Viewing best on a weekend ideally. [email protected] or Tel 07506 352411

Bump

If I didn't already have my Mk2 and my Wife's Leon I would buy this in a heart beat!!!!!!!

My Dad had one identical on an 02 plate after I convinced him to go and test one out when I was just 19, I knew he'd love it so he tried it and went to the dealership to place his order right then. He kept it 4 years until the Mk2 came out and did 35k miles. He sold the car on to a guy in Newbury and the car is still going as strong as ever and the guy absolutely loves it still (over 100k miles and 10 years old) - I always wished I'd bought it as my Dad had cared for it so well. Sounds a very similar example but almost frozen in time as your car has such low miles on it.

I'd love it even just as a spare car if I could justify the cost, absolutely brilliant example and great advert!

Good luck with the sale, that should go in no time!!!!!!!!

Upgrade m8, sell the mk2 and own a proper octy lol
