So I brought a connect to lead and fitted, how do I get the radio to the CD changer function to play the sound?

It says no cd changer :(

Is it something simple that I haven't done?!

It was a connect 2 lead I brought from eBay that said it works with skoda symphony which is what I've got

Did you earth the Connects to the back of the head unit?

I have fixed the problem, when I had slid the head unit back in, the earth was a poor connection. I removed one of the bolts and put a better earth and re-tightened the screw.

Very impressed for £29.99 and keeping the standard OEM look.

Skoda Superb needs new starter battery - coded to vehicle??

Skoda dealer says car needs a new battery and the battery needs to be coded to the car. If indeed it does need a new battery, why does it need to be coded to the car? It's not stop/start, it's a manual 6-speed gearbox. Car's description: Skoda Superb Estate 2013 vintage (MkII?), 1.4TSi petrol engine, manual gearbox. I had thought that only auto boxes with stop/start needed coding. Is my understanding incorrect? Thanks for responding.

I'm planning to buy karoq sportline and I'm thinking of getting lounge interior - alcantara/leather seats instead of sports seats. Is this reasonable and what are the experiences with alcantara after longer use (does it wear out a lot, how long do they hold their shape, does the leather crack on the sides). Thnx

I’m having a issue on start-up from cold there is a noticeable lumpy idling. This hasn’t caused any massifier codes when scanning via VCDS. Last year as part of the service the sparkplugs were changes but the rough idol is getting more noticeable. My Audi had the same issue that eventually resulted in constant misfire. That was diagnosed as having a carbon build-up. I don’t want to have the same issue occurring with the Fabia. As the CTHE is direct injection and has done 41k miles I’m guessin

Hello, I'm after some advice. Any alternatives to rivets? Window regulator repair in progress. The metal plate holding window regulator is riveted on to door. There are X10 7mm holes for metal plate/regulator to door attachment and X4 4mm holes for speakers. Rather than riveting are there any other options? I've seen rivnuts. However a size guide said a 5mm hole needs M3 rivnut not seen any smaller sizes like for 4mm diameter hole. I could probably put speaker on new metal plate with access to

Hello My skoda start keeping rpm in neutral around 900 to 950, yesterday i went for ride on motorway and engine light came on then few minutes after dpf light came on. Drove for 2 hours no issuses turbo works fine also power is fine, traffic was cray so was not able keep driving in high rpm. Will only driving in high RPM help to clear out or not? Should i use dpf additive? also it is 182k miles... Today i started the car in the morning and rpm was at normal.also dpf light is gone but engine lig
