bad day

Featured Replies

P2160576.jpghi guys getting opinions cause i had a bad day when i bumped the taxi into a wall the other day how much do you think it will be to fix?P2160573.jpgP2160575.jpg

easiest option is to find a red bumper off a breaker and swap it out

£500 all in

Bumper will be the cheap bit. The rear quarter panel I guess would have to be completely replaced, or cut and filled, there's no way that would pull out.

wow not going to be cheap dependant on how badly bent things are but at the very least it will be new quater panel bumper light + spraying + more than likely the rear end might need a jig on that corner

££££

dunno how many times I've nearly done the same, octys have a big ass lol. One of the first mods I did was to fit parking sensors saved me quite a few times, hope you get it fixed easily and cheaply m8

i know had since it was new iv had three octys all mk1's a .51 plate red sdi. a 55 plate tdi white. and now my 57 plate in red. had many close encounters in them all but this is the only accident iv had in a octy very sad to see it in this condition however no chassis damage so that's a positive

actually if you look at the last pic if you see the grey pillar on the house that is what i hut

Oops! Get the bumper and light off a breaker but that rear panel looks bad, not just were the light is but it's creased further up aswell by the looks of it. That'll need replacing no doubt.

Best thing to do is get a few quotes from different places and try and source what bits you can yourself to try and keep costs down a bit.

i was amazed because the guy that was working on the car managed to pull that bash out on the quarter panel and then filled and painted

Looks really good m8, how much did it cost in the end?

Also think it might be the right time to fit parking sensors lol

Quarter panel = £350

Bumper = £40

Tail light = £20

and i had to pay another Taxi driver to do my contract for half a day and that was £50 so all together £460

and i think those sensors may be needed :D

That's a good Price that m8, I managed to get my sensors from maplins for 20 quid over 2 years ago and they are still saving my ass lol

the last pic seems to show either the trim isnt on properly under light or the panel isnt back to where it should be !!!

good price though does the job

looks fine to me not looking for perfection but im dead happy with the result the car look 110% better than it did last week maybe just a screw needs tightened up or something but i'm sure evryone agrees it looks better

Glad you have got it fixed, they did a really good job  .

So Babs was pretty much spot on

I can't see anything wrong with the trim or panel. Looks like a good job :)
