Featured Replies

hi people just decided to keep my fabia vrs and spend some money on her just wondering how much did anyones insurance went up or did would you just say i bought the car car like this officer!!!!

Declare everything. Phone your insurance company and ask, it's different for everyone, one will get refused cover & another will get no charge.

ok cheers

Try adrian flux modified as they have been the best for me. Make sure everything is declared or if you hit someone they could refuse to pay out due to invalid insurance with undeclared mods.

H.i.c insurance. . .did my insurace with everything declared (mapped, fmic ,full exhaust, coilovers and wheels) for same price as aviva would do the standard car

As above, tell them everything and let them decide what they will/won't insure and how much extra they may or may not charge for the privilege. 'It was like that when I bought it' doesn't work if it could be reasonably shown that you should be aware or worse still that you were responsible for the changes and deliberately misrepresented the facts to your insurance company. That's the kind of position you just don't ever want to be in.

ok will ring mine up then others cheers...........

You can also try sky insurance. Like Adrian flux they are a site sponsor and you get a discount for being a briskoda member. I have a thread running regarding the failure of comparison website to pass the correct details through to completion. Sky saved me 300 quid with all mods correctly

Declared

Brentacre are good been with them 3 years now and Its gone down about £100 this year! Sky can't insure me due to my claims history lol
