What age is everybody?

Featured Replies

Just turned 24 and onto my 3rd vrs (first 2 were fabia's)

I opted for the octavia to get away from the hot hatch scene and fancied something of a q car that wouldnt draw much attention

well im 20. first vrs, but ive had golf gti's

I'm 39 next month. I want to be part of the hot hatch scene, but look daft in skinny jeans and luminous t-shirts.

Just turned 25 done the hot hatch thing(proton gti) and the turbo 4x4 (impreza) and then needed something sensibleish for the kids so bought the vrs.

Im 30 next month and wanted a quick car again after having a couple of diesels,

Would have loved a evo or similar but after buying house i just couldnt afford both so vrs was sensible option, quickish car with plenty of room in it

this is the g&y thread of the day then;>

this is the g&y thread of the day then;>

Was just thinking that myself lol

I act my age, about 9

so very very g&y

surely this should be in the general forum area and not in the non g&y octavia area?

It beats the know it all unhappy to help threads that seem common place in the octy 1 section

Not really cause i want to know octy 1 drivers ages not the whole forum thank you very much

I'd say this forum is very helpful, i distinctly remember helping you quite a lot in a thread last night about suspension along with several other members!

this thread is the same kind of thread as 'how much fuel can i get for £20' and 'can i get away without telling my insurer i have a remap'...sorry just shows your age i guess!

26, had my first one at 21

This is a lot better than some threads on the C2 owners forum.(I used to have a C2 GT) Another thing we have over most people on there is a love of punctuation and the general ability to spell.

My mates have always thought I was gay though, so a thread like this appeals to that side of my personality.

For the record i aint gay either :)

lol! your post made me laugh!

However....are you serious??? i think the the spelling and general grammer on here is terrible!

Never ceases to amaze me how many people don't know the difference between there and their and where an were and we're!

its shocking!

:D sorry..... My spelling and chat is prob one of the worst,

My texting doesnt keep up with my mind.... Or my fingers skip through my thoughts :)

I try to edit afterward to make things readable

you really are an offender lloyd;> though your last post was clear and concise!

They're is they are

Their is personal, like it was their coat

There is like it was over there

(at least i think)

My grammer sucks to be honest but at least its legible and half understandable!

I hated english at school! Booooring!

Texting is terrible in my job (electrician) i seldom have to write anything at all, and a few years back i had a proper dilema!

How to spell okay!!

In texts its a simple ok but i knew it wasn't right when i wrote it down and i spent a good ten minutes remembering that there was an ay to be added! :o

The spelling on here isn't too bad. One that winds me up though is 'should of'. No matter how many times I see people write that, I get a little bit wound up. There are worse things in the world other than poor literacy skills, but everyone needs their personal crusades.

I have noticed since joining Briskoda that the average vRS owner is getting younger as they become cheaper to buy. When they were £16000 plus, they were quite pricey and excluded most people under 30yrs old . When I got mine they were still over £13000 new, but now they go on ebay for £2500ish and therefore are more affordable to people a lot younger.

Mind you if I get the Honda FRV, then I'll be joining the Victor Meldrew brigade and that's the end of me!

sadly forums allow the degradation of our language, we are all guilty, i use tho instead of though, but its the incorrect use of where and were there and their and non and none that get me.

My own crusades are cannabis freedom and...go to work as a pirate day (at least once a week).
