Car ready for collection

Featured Replies

Been informed by my leasing company that my superb is ready and I could have it within a matter of days. Exciting!

BUT I still have a month left on my 320d! What a pain. I cannot possibly justify leasing 2 cars at one time can I? Can I?

Do you lease privately or is this a company car?

On our company fleet, they won't let you have your new one until the lease on the old car expires (unless it is very high mileage)

Its a company lease. I have the option to terminate early if I like, but I still have to pay. Common sense means I need to hang on to the 320 for a few more weeks.

I was in same situation last year. Superb was available in mi February but my lease on Avensis didn't finish until late April. Long wait but worth it in the end.

Just mark the date on the calendar and start dreaming

Will you not have a month to pass before you make the first payment on the new one?

No-car leasing is different to other forms of buying, the charges acrue daily, so one lease wont end until eg end of month, then you hand that car back, pick up new one on same day and payments are seamless, if you have a period when you are still in posession of two vehicles, then you will be charged for both - one from the time you receive it, the other until you hand it over
