Hi all i am new here and hopfully some one can help me out i have looked all over the net to find a remap for the 1.2tsi. I have found some but not willing to spend 1000 + pounds for one if anyone knows of somewhere that does them ,that would be great

I dont think a remap is available for the 1.2 TSi in the UK yet, I know it is overseas but none of the main UK companies appear to be offering it at the present time. I guess the TMC tuning box is a good alternative at the moment though, it will give you a 20% power increase over standard.

I had a racebox (went mad and got the 130bhp version) on mine. Went like a rocket.

As of yet, nowhere (bar MTM which costs over £1K!!!) has a remap for the 1.2TSi. Might be a few in development but because its not a "GTi" model its not proved to be a priority with the tuners yet, although I think a lot of people will end up tuning the 1.2 in the end.

TMC .... they have a tuning box available... they have proved decent figures on the vRS compaired to remaps, without haviung to wreck the ECU......
