Smoke

Featured Replies

I put my soot chucker on the motorway for a run today and was a little embarrassed, whilst using the cruise control each time the car blipped the power to maintain speed a puff of soot flew out

It does this too when I start her

She is a race blue 07 fabia vrs 98000 miles

Should I be worried ? is there anything I can do to aid the soot reduction, its going in for an oil service next weekend should I get them to put a flush through ?

fuel filter? some form of injector cleaner maybe?

Im having this problem too mine seems to have got worse though :(

europarts have 3 fuel filters listed I dont suppose you know the part number ?

A puff of smoke can be a boost leak, Leaking turbo seals, down to the map on it if it's mapped and even at worst ****** rings or stem seals.

have you checked your air filter
