I had Powerflex bushes fitted upfront in November, last week I noticed a knocking from the front end. After investigation it's been found that the passenger side wishbone bush has pulled through the wishbone as it has split and the centre metal section has also started to come out of the bush.

The issue has been raised with powerflex and they are wanting photo's before they'll even provide a replacement, never mind offer an explanation as to why it has happened.

Anybody else experienced similar?

Had mine fitted at the weekend - not really what i wanted to hear! Will keep an eye out. How many miles have you done with them fitted Eddy?

About 10k but I've spoke to a Golf owner who had one go very quickly but the replacement was fine. His was also the passenger side. Looks like they are being replaced anyway so will hopefully be sorted soon.

Got a bag of them in the loft...will be n soon, so same as Dave, not what I wanted to hear....but hey ho..all for the greater cause

Had no problems with mine on my RS, but then it didn't have a very hard life

Oh and I may have a spare set if you get no joy from them....

All sorted now, powerflex provided replacement parts and covered the labour costs.
